From future Academy Awards contenders to cult classics in the making, there’s no denying that this year’s Sundance is quite memorable. Nicolas Cage debuted a new film, several filmmakers made their debut, and CODA made festival history with its insane $25 million deal with Apple.

The 2021 Sundance Film Festival took place from January 28 to February 3, 2021. This version of the festival combined in-person screenings at the Ray Theatre in Park City, Utah, with screenings held online and on screens and drive-ins in 24 states and territories across the United States.
