Take a peek at the brand new poster for Return to Silent Hill

September 22, 2025 by Matt Rodgers

The mist has cleared on a brand new poster for Christophe Gans’ Return to Silent Hill.

Starring War Horse actor Jeremy Irvine as the protagonist, this third film is based on the critically acclaimed Konami videogame Silent Hill 2, which tells the melancholy story of James, a widower who returns to the titular town when he receives a mysterious letter hinting that his wife Mary (Hannah Emily Anderson) might still be alive somewhere in the hellscape of Silent Hill.

Gans is back behind the camera following his 2006 original, which up until the recent boom of successful videogame movies, remained one of the most popular adaptations. Check out the brand new poster below…

Return to Silent Hill follows James (Jeremy Irvine), a man broken after being separated from his one true love. When a mysterious letter calls him back to Silent Hill in search of her, he finds a once-recognizable town transformed by an unknown evil. As James descends deeper into the darkness, he encounters terrifying figures both familiar and new and begins to question his own sanity as he struggles to make sense of reality and hold on long enough to save his lost love.
