The Boys’ Homelander gets a new sixth scale figure from Star Ace Toys

November 21, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Sideshow has released promotional images for Star Ace Toys’ 1:6 scale Homelander figure which is inspired by the likeness of Antony Starr in Amazon’s hit comic book adaptation The Boys. The collectible is available to pre-order now, priced at $280; check it out here…

The superheroes in Amazon Prime’s “The Boys” are controlled by an evil corporation that is obsessed with money and power. The corrupt “supers” hide behind a semblance of civic duty, that just barely hides their true motivations. The most powerful and insane of all of these supers is Homelander, a god-like being with super-strength, the ability to fly, and who shoots death beams out of his eyes.

This 1:6th scale figure of Homelander features a specially designed custom seamless body developed with TBLeague that is fully articulated and has over 30 points of articulation. The authentic head sculpt includes the exact likeness of Antony Starr as Homelander and was sculpted by renowned figure artist Vimal Kerketta. The serious expression of Homelander features a light-up function to simulate the powerful and awesome death beams.

The Boys season 3 sees the return of Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Tomer Capon, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Erin Moriarty, Jessie Usher, Nathan Mitchell, Chace Crawford, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and Giancarlo Esposito, alongside series newcomers Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) as Crimson Countess, Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Soldier Boy, Katia Winter (Sleepy Hollow) as Little Nina, Sean Patrick Flanery (Dexter) as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler (Revenge) as Blue Hawk, and Miles Gaston Villanueva (Law & Order: True Crime: —The Menendez Murders) as Supersonic.
