The CW picks up Gotham Knights to series

May 13, 2022 by Ricky Church

With filming having recently begun on the ordered pilot in Toronto last month, The CW has now given a full series order for its Bat-themed DC show Gotham Knights.

Gotham Knights follows Bruce Wayne’s adoptive son who teams with the children of Batman’s enemies after they are framed for the murder of the Dark Knight.

The series is unrelated to the upcoming video game of the same name or any of The CW’s Arrowverse shows, including Batwoman which was recently cancelled after three seasons. Despite the separation to the Arrowverse, Gotham Knights is written by Batwoman’s Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams.
