The Devil’s Bath trailer teases new period horror from Goodnight Mommy and The Lodge directors

Shudder has released a trailer for The Devil’s Bath, the upcoming horror from writer-directors Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz (Goodnight Mommy, The Lodge) which centres on Agnes, a woman struggling with her new marriage in an isolated village in 18th century Austria; watch it below…

Austria in the 18th century. Forests surround villages. Killing a baby gets a woman sentenced to death. Agnes readies for married life with her beloved. But her mind and heart grow heavy. A gloomy path alone, evil thoughts arising.

Featuring in the cast of The Devil’s Bath are Anja Plaschg, Maria Hofstätter, and David Scheid.

The Devil’s Bath arrives on Shudder on June 28th.
