The end of the world is nigh in trailer for Silent Night starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Goode

November 11, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its release this December, a poster and trailer have been released for the dark comedy drama Silent Night. Written and directed by Camille Griffin, the film follows Nell (Keira Knightley), Simon (Matthew Goode), and their son Art (Roman Griffin Davis), as they host Christmas dinner for their friends while the world faces an impending doom; take a look here…

Silent Night follows parents Nell (Keira Knightley) and Simon (Matthew Goode) who have invited their closest friends to join their family for Christmas dinner at their idyllic home in the English countryside. As the group comes together, it feels like old times – but behind all of the laughter and merriment, something is not quite right. The world outside is facing impending doom, and no amount of gifts, games or Prosecco can make mankind’s imminent destruction go away. Surviving the holidays just got a lot more complicated.

Featuring in the cast of Silent Night are Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Roman Griffin Davis, Lily-Rose Depp, Annabelle Wallis, Ṣọpé Dìrísù, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Lucy Punch, Rufus Jones, and Trudie Styler.

Silent Night arrives in cinemas and on AMC+ on December 3rd.
