The Flash has wrapped filming, reveals director Andy Muschietti

Having generated plenty of hype with a brief teaser this past weekend during DC FanDome, director Andy Muschietti has now taken to Instagram to announce that filming has wrapped on The Flash, the upcoming DC Multiverse-hopping superhero adventure starring Ezra Miller. The Flash has been in development since the launch of the DC Extended Universe and has passed through the hands of several writers and directors before It helmer Muschietti came on board to direct from a script by Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) screenwriter Christina Hodson.

Along with Ezra Miller as Barry Allen alongside his Zack Snyder’s Justice League co-stars Ben Affleck (Batman) and Kiersey Clemons (Iris West), The Flash will see Michael Keaton making his return as Batman along with Ron Livingston (Office Space) as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdu (Pan’s Labyrinth) as Nora Allen, and Sasha Calle (The Young and the Restless) as Supergirl.

The Flash is set for release on November 4th, 2022.
