The Princess Bride and Goat Simulator tables coming to Pinball FX

August 1, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Publisher Zen Studios has announced that two new tables will be arriving for their popular pinball game Pinball FX on 29th August. Before the month is out, players will be able to duel with Montoya and rescue the princess on the The Princess Bride table and stop alien invasions in the Goat Simulator table.  New trailers for both these upcoming tables can be seen below….

Based on the classic 1987 fantasy comedy film, The Princess Bride table takes pinballers to the Kingdom of Florin where they will encounter danger, revenge, romance and swashbuckling adventure.  There will be iconic characters and unforgettable scenes from the film recreated in pinball challenges.

Features of The Princess Bride table include:

  • Climb the Cliffs of Insanity and start a Duel with Inigo Montoya (you killed his father, prepare to die!)
  • Give the right answer to Vizzini in the Battle of Wits mode and see the scores shoot up
  • Free Westley from the Machine by shooting the lit lanes
  • Show off true skill by going through the Super-Mega-Multi-Monster skillshots
  • Storm the castle in Wizard Mode and let true love prevail

The Goat Simulator table has been inspired by the crazy Goat Simulator 3 by developer Coffee Stain North.  This table will have players headbutting bumpers, shooting through hoops and basically leaving a trail of chaos behind them.

The Goat Simulator table features:

  • Guide Pilgor to The Big Red Button and start the nuclear apocalypse
  • Defeat the alien invasion by hitting the little UFOs
  • Attend Farmer’s Got Talent and impress all the judges with impressive shots
  • Take the Farmer’s tractor and launch it over the mini playfield jump ramp
  • Battle against the villainous Farmer to escape his simulation in Wizard Mode!

Both The Princess Bride Pinball and Goat Simulator Pinball tables will be released as paid DLC for Pinball FX on 29th August on Xbox One and Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
