The Walking Dead: The Final Season gets an official trailer

August 10, 2018 by Andrew Newton

With just a few more days to go before the release of Episode 1 of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: The Final Season, the developers have released the official trailer which teases at Clementine’s final journey and pays homage to the man who took her under his wing all those years before.

It’s been a long journey for favourite character Clementine and we’ve seen some wonderful characters come and go including Lee, Kenny and Javier, but with The Walking Dead: The Final Season players get to join Clementine, who is now a very capable survivor, on her final journey.  In this fourth and final season Clementine and AJ come across a secluded school that might finally be her chance for a home.

This final season of the award winning series will feature:

  • An emotional story which sees Clementine’s journey through to the end. As she builds a new life, players will have to make new types of choices and live with the consequences.
  • More control and more tension thanks to the new over the shoulder camera system, there’s greater freedom to explore detailed environments plus scenes with unscripted combat to capture the fear of living in a world overrun by Walkers.
  • An all new Graphic Black art style rips the ink from the pages of the comic book series to bring the world of The Walking Dead to life.
  • Supports 4K resolution and high dynamic range on compatible devices.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC next week.  Pre-ordering is available and those who do so on the Xbox One and PS4 will immediately receive the bonus The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection – a collection of all the previous games.  PC players who pre-order on Steam, GOG, GamersGate, or the Humble Store will receive 10% off the full retail price.
