Things are getting a whole lot worse for Jamie Dornan in The Tourist season 2 trailer

December 16, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Jamie Dornan is still trying to piece together his past in the second season of the critically acclaimed series The Tourist, and judging by the action-packed trailer dropped by the BBC, things aren’t getting any easier for Elliot Stanley on his return home.

The six part second series, which is written and created by Jack and Harry Williams, relocates the action from the Australian outback to the Irish countryside, bringing with it Danielle Macdonald (Patti Cake$) as returning police officer Helen Chambers, as well as introducing a set of brand new characters, including Detective Ruairi Slater (Conor MacNeill – Industry), Niamh Cassidy (Olwen Fouéré – The Northman) and the McDonnell family – Donal (Diarmaid Murtagh – Vikings), Orla (Nessa Matthews – Fair City), Fergal (Mark McKenna – Sing Street), and Frank (Francis Magee – Then You Run). Check out the trailer below…

Set against the striking backdrop of Ireland, The Tourist Series 2 sees Elliot (Jamie Dornan) and Helen (Danielle Macdonald) confronted by friends and foes. As they attempt to uncover the secrets of Elliot’s past, they are soon dragged into a longstanding family feud where they face the dangerous consequences of his past actions.

Watch all episodes of The Tourist on the BBC iPlayer from January 1st, 2024, and stream in the United States on February 29, 2024.
