Tom Hardy takes a fall in Venom set video, new character descriptions surface

November 8, 2017 by Gary Collinson

A few days ago we got out first look at Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock with some photos from the set of Venom [see here], and now a spy video from the Spider-Man spinoff has arrived online, which sees Hardy performing a falling stunt before walking off down an alleyway, at which point it seems he gets into a conversation with his own reflection (or possibly speaks to someone off camera?). Take a look for yourself here…

Meanwhile, That Hashtag Show has posted some alleged casting breakdowns for supporting characters in the film, which the outlet speculates could be five individuals who find themselves bonded with the offspring of the Venom symbiote, if the rumours that the movie is adapting the Lethal Protector story arc are true:

[FEMALE PARAMEDIC] 20’s, very attractive, physical type. MUST speak fluent Mandarin…CO-STAR

[ZIGGY] 19, a male guitar player, he is a rocker or punk guy who never stops playing the guitar…CO-STAR

[LEWIS DONTAE] Male, serious, very physical soldier of fortune. MUST be a stunt performer…CO-STAR

[BABY NIGHT] 50’s-60’s, former hippie, now homeless. MUST be able to sing…CO-STAR

[MRS. CHEN] 50’s-60’s, funny, endearing Asian woman who owns the corner store…CO-STAR

Venom is set for release on October 5th 2018, and sees Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) directing a cast that includes Tom Hardy, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, Jenny Slate, Reid Scott and Scott Haze.
