Transformers: Galactic Trials racing onto PC and consoles this October

July 3, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Outright Games has revealed the first details of their upcoming arcade racer Transformers: Galactic Trials, which is scheduled to release on Xbox One Series X/S, Playstation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch and Steam for PC on 11th October. This unique racing adventure has a new trailer to celebrate the announcement. Watch this trailer below….

This fusion of racing adventure and robot combat will allow fans to play as the iconic Autobots or Decepticons to recover the Prime Relics that were stolen by the evil Nemesis Prime.  Play as Bumblebee, Megatron, Elita-1 or Optimus Prime and race across battle-race circuits to collect the relics and defeat the enemies in both vehicle form for traditional arcade racing and bot-form for the dynamic combat.  As players collect the relics, they will be able to level up their skills and unlock new playable characters and skins.

TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials will offer two different game modes; players will be able to progress through the levels and collect relics in the Galactic Trials single-player mode or join a friend in 2-player local multiplayer and take part in Arcade mode. Arcade mode will allow players to enter a quick race, create a custom race with track, character and weapons or enter a location-based specialised tournament.

“It has been a pleasure to continue our collaboration with Hasbro and return to the world of TRANSFORMERS”, said Stephanie Malham, Managing Director of Outright Games. “With 2024 marking the 40th anniversary of this iconic IP, we are very excited to be releasing the first ever console racing video game in the franchise’s history. With the inclusion of rogue-lite elements, TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials’ gameplay complements the dynamic Transformers robots.”

Get ready to roll out with Transformers: Galactic Trials on PC and consoles on 11th October.
