Unlock Your Fears with new trailer for Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities

September 30, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

Netflix has released the full trailer for Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, an anthology series curated by the Oscar-winning director of beautifully macabre classics such as Pan’s Labyrinth and Crimson Peak.

A Pandora’s boxset which features eight different stories, two of them original works from del Toro, with the rest directed by people he personally chose, including Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Vincenzo Natali (In The Tall Grass), Guillermo Navarro (Godfather of Harlem), Keith Thomas (Firestarter), David Prior (The Empty Man), Panos Cosmatos (Mandy), and perhaps most excitingly Jennifer Kent (The Babadook) and Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night). Check out the trailer below…

Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities is a collection of live-action stories meant to challenge our traditional notions of horror. From macabre to magical, gothic to grotesque or classically creepy, the eight sinister tales — including two original works by del Toro — will be brought to life by a team of writers and directors personally chosen by the Shape of Water filmmaker.

Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities will be opened on Netflix October 25th with a double-sized episode event. The following episodes will be released two at a time until October 28th.
