Warner Bros. will be hoping that bringing Valek back for The Nun II will result in similar returns to the unholy amount the original made at the worldwide box-office ($365 million), so they’ve dropped a creepy new teaser for the ninth instalment in The Conjuring Universe, which you can check out below…
Directed by The Conjuring Universe veteran Michael Chaves (The Curse of La Llorona, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), The Nun II brings Taissa Farmiga (The Gilded Age) back to the convent as Sister Irene, as well as Bonnie Aarons as Valak, and Jonas Bloquet (The Nun), alongside franchise newcomers Storm Reid (The Suicide Squad) and Anna Popplewell (The Chronicles of Narnia trilogy).
1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun.
The Nun II arrives in cinemas on September 8th.
