Vampire action RPG V Rising will be free to play this weekend

September 11, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Stunlock Studios has announced that their hit vampire action RPG V Rising will be free to play on Steam this weekend, a long weekend.  Running from 12th September to 16th September, players will be able to dive into V Rising’s dark, gothic world and take part in the blood-soaked action.

During this free-play weekend, players will be able to experience the full game, including the content from the recent update.  Those who dive into the world of vamps will awaken as a weakened vampire after centuries of sleep. The world is ripe with blood and players will need to hunt it down to regain their strength, and ultimately their power.  Seek out food, avoid the sunlight and rebuild your castle, all while converting humans into loyal servants.  The fun doesn’t stop with playing solo, there’s always the opportunity to make allies or enemies online and wage epic wars.

What players will face in V Rising:

  • Avoid the Sun’s deadly rays, feed on blood and grow strong in a world ruled by humans.
  • Engage in intense PvE and PvP combat.
  • Explore 7 large regions, encounter 57 unique bosses and discover the secrets of the Ruins of Mortium, a wintry zone introduced with the recent update.
  • Every self-respecting vampire needs a castle and players can build and customise their own gothic castle to dominate the lands.
  • Fight the legendary Dracula, tackle werewolves, defeat witches and challenge the powerful Church of Luminance.

Take the opportunity to live as a vampire in the V Rising free-play weekend on Steam.
