Video Game Review – Blacksea Odyssey (Video Review)

June 4, 2016 by Lewy Buck

Lewy Buck Reviews Blacksea Odyssey…

After playing countless AAA Titles, tweaking graphics, installing Mods and setting up multiplayer sessions Blacksea Odyssey was the step back into the Indie game world I never knew I needed. Its pure and brilliant simplicity hooks you in from the very start and refuses to let go. The best way to show off Blacksea Odyssey would be to show you some captured gameplay, be sure to check out the video review below….

Pros

– Fantastic artstyle

– Great Soundtrack

– Boss fights are intense

– Multiple characters and weapons

– Challenging

Cons

– Only two level types

– Limited amount of smaller enemies

– Camera angle seems slightly too close

Rating 9/10

Blacksea Odyssey is available for PC through the Steam store now as well as the free demo.

Blacksea Odyssey is a violent top-down rogue-lite space shoot ‘em up RPG brimming with colossal creatures and runic technologies. Explore dangerous, interstellar spacescapes as you hunt enormous space-behemoths with a harpoon and rune-infused spears.
