Voldo to return in SoulCalibur VI

July 23, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Fans of Bandai Namco’s Soul Calibur series will be pleased to hear that Voldo will be making a return in SoulCalibur VI.  This latest title in the franchise is scheduled for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Steam on the 19th October.  To get a closer look at Voldo and his abilities watch the trailer below.

Voldo is a long time character in the SoulCalibur series and is one of only five characters to appear in every installment of the game.  Voldo is absolutely deadly in combat as he can contort his body in extremely unnatural ways to attack his opponents and can even attack backwards making him a pretty unique fighter.  His signature moves of Katar, Manas and Ayus will prove devastating to his opponents.

When Voldo worked for Vercci, an arms dealer with the nickname “Merchant of Death”, he was set the task of guarding all Vercci’s treasure in the dark depths of the Money Pit.  Eventually, he lost the use of his eyes from the perpetual darkness but gained a heightened sense of hearing and awareness which gave him an advantage to raiders who would plunder his masters belongings.

The Guardian of The Vault, Voldo rises up once again! Armed with this signature Katar, Manas & Ayus, he will slash anyone foolish enough to steal his treasures. Are you prepared to take on this eccentric opponent?

Players will be able to get their hands on this deadly fighter when the game is released on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC this October.
