Ahead of its debut later this month, FX & Hulu have unveiled one final trailer for their epic adaptation of James Clavell’s 1975 novel, Shōgun.
Set in Feudal Japan, the series depicts epic war, passion and power as Lord Yoshii Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada) is forced to fight for his life as the Council of Regents unite against him, but a mysterious English man bearing secrets, John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis), who has travelled from a marooned ship in a nearby fishing village, may be able to help tip the scales of power in Toranaga’s favour, while devastating his own enemies.
