Ahead of its release this weekend Warner Bros. has shared an extended 8 minute preview for The Watchers (known as The Watched in the UK), the feature directorial debut of Ishana Night Shyamalan, daughter of filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan, who also produces.
Based on A.M. Shine’s novel, the supernatural horror follows artist Mina (Dakota Fanning) as she becomes trapped, along with three strangers, in a forest in western Ireland where they are stalked by strange creatures each night.
Being hunted alongside Fanning are Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan, and Olwen Fouere. Check out the extended preview below…
The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.
