Young Justice renewed for fourth season on DC Universe

July 21, 2019 by Ricky Church

Earlier this year fans got their wish as Young Justice was finally brought back for a third season, Young Justice: Outsiders, on the DC Universe app. Now fans have even more reason to rejoice as producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti have announced at the San Diego Comic-Con the series has been renewed for a fourth season.

Young Justice first premiered in 2010 on the Cartoon Network, where it ran for two seasons before getting cancelled by the network in 2013. That didn’t stop fans from clamoring for more though as they praised the writing, character development and overarching story. After continued campaigning, the series was officially brought back on the DC Universe streaming app for a third season, where it has gone under the subtitle Young Justice: Outsiders, and has been airing in batches of episodes. The second part of the season is currently airing on the app now while the fourth season is already in production.

The teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets in YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS, the highly anticipated new take on Warner Bros. Animation’s popular YOUNG JUSTICE series. The team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.
