Zendaya has Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist in her sights in the poster for Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers

January 2, 2024 by Matt Rodgers

Having seen its release date pushed back following 2023’s SAG-AFTRA strikes, Warner Bros are starting to crank up promotion for Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers, and have served an ace in the form of a brand new poster.

The tennis tryst drama marks Guadagnino’s first full-fledged U.S. studio movie, and features Euphoria’s Zendaya as a tennis star caught up in a love triangle with fellow pros and rivals Josh O’Connor (The Crown) and Mike Faist (West Side Story); check out the poster below…

From visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, Challengers stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach and a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court. Married to a champion on a losing streak (Mike Faist – West Side Story), Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick (Josh O’Connor – The Crown) – his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend. As their pasts and presents collide, and tensions run high, Tashi must ask herself, what will it cost to win.

Challengers hits theatres on April 26th, 2024.
