Raiders of the Lost Ark fan remake getting its own movie Raiders!

October 15, 2013 by admin

In the Summer of 1982, two 11 year old boys, Chris Strompolos and Eric Zala, attempted to recreate Raiders of the Lost Ark shot by shot.

Although taking over seven years, their film garnered a lot of attention, with even Steven Spielberg recognising its quality, and now their story is becoming a movie itself.

Raiders! will revolve less around Indiana Jones and more as a coming-of-age story, with Napoleon Dynamite producer Jeremy Coon attached to produce and Ghost World creator Daniel Clowes rumoured to write.

Raiders! will follow the book Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Dan Film Ever Made, a 2012 book written by Alan Eissenstock, as its source framework.
