Karl Urban has a message for Dredd fans who want to see a sequel

April 4, 2014 by admin

Despite the fact it struggled at the box office, the 2012 British comic book movie Dredd has certainly built a strong cult following, so much so that a ‘Make a Dredd Sequel’ petition has attracted over 100,000 signatures. While it remains to be seen whether a follow-up will become a reality, star Karl Urban has taken the time to deliver a message to fans, stating that: “I just want to say on behalf of everybody involved with the film Dredd from [writer-producer] Alex Garland to the DNA boys to myself we really really appreciate it and we’re working very very hard to bring you Dredd 2.” Check out his full message here…

Do you want to see a sequel to Dredd? If so, then head on over to 2000AD and sign the petition…
