Mark Feuerstein joins Prison Break revival, several original cast members in talks to return

February 23, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Fox’s Prison Break revival is starting to get its cast together, with Deadline revealing that Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) has signed on to appear alongside the returning Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell in the upcoming event series.

Feuerstein will play Scott Ness, a Professor of Economics at Cornell; he is described as a “rather anxious professor who is dubious of government, but proves he’s got significant fight in him when up against it.”

Ness is also the husband of Dr. Sara Tancredi, played by Sarah Wayne Callies, who is said to be in negotiations with the network about a return alongside Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar and Amaury Nolasco.

The new Prison Break series will see the return of original creator Paul T. Schuering, who will write and executive produce, as well as serving as showrunner.
