Olga Kurylenko linked to Wonder Woman role in Batman vs. Superman

November 7, 2013 by admin

Last week Thor: The Dark World star Jaimie Alexander indicated that she’s been speaking to Warner Bros. about a role in an upcoming DC movie, as well as claiming to have the inside scoop on the storyline for Zack Snyder’s upcoming Man of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman. Naturally this led to speculation that Alexander could be in the frame for the role of Wonder Woman, and now we have another possible contender for the Amazon Princess.

According to Schmoes Know, Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace, Oblivion) is set to test for the female lead in Batman vs. Superman, which the site claims is 100% Wonder Woman. Now, there’s been an absolute tonne of speculation about this movie (remember the ridiculous claim that Bryan Cranston would be announced as signing a six-picture deal as Lex Luthor after the finale of Breaking Bad?), but it has to be said that the Schmoes have had a pretty good track record when it comes to scoops lately. Now, if Kurylenko is reading for the part, there’s no guarantees she’ll end up in the movie, but at this point it’s starting to seem very likely that the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel won’t be the only DC superheroes to hit the screen in 2015…

Batman vs. Superman sees Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman alongside returning Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and Lawrence Fishburne (Perry White) and is set to hit cinemas on July 17th, 2015.
