Glee star Nolan Funk has joined the cast of Arrow for a guest role in the upcoming third season, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that he will appear in the fifth episode, ‘The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak’, as the character of Cooper Seldon, a former hacker boyfriend of Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) from her days at MIT.
Other newcomers to the third season of Arrow inlcude Rila Fukushima as Katana, J.R. Ramirez as Wildcast, David Cubitt as Manhunter, Charlotte Ross as Felicity’s mother, Matt Ward as Komodo, Brandon Routh as The Atom, Karl Yune as Maseo Yamashiro and Peter Stormare as Count Vertigo.
Season three of Arrow is set to get underway on October 8th, with Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), David Ramsey (John Diggle), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), Willa Holland (Thea Queen), Colton Haynes (Roy Harper), John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn), Katie Cassidy (Laurel Lance) and Paul Blackthorne (Quentin Lance) all returning to the cast.
