Sony Television’s upcoming PlayStation Network series Powers has found its leading man, with TV Line reporting that Sharlto Copley (District 9, Elysium) has signed on for the role of Detective Christian Walker, while Michelle Forbes (The Killing, True Blood) will also play Retro Girl.
Created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, Powers is set in a world of superhumans and follows two detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim (played by The Following’s Susan Heyward), who are charged with protect humans from super-powered individuals.
Powers will arrive on PlayStation Network in December, with a cast that also includes Max Fowler (The Killing) as Krispin Stockley, Adam Godley (Breaking Bad) as Captain Cross, Eddie Izzard (Hannibal) as Wolfe, Oleysa Rulin (High School Musical) as Calista nd Noah Taylor (Edge of Tomorrow) as Johnny Royalle.
