Pride and Prejudice and Zombies adds Charles Dance and Lena Headey

September 24, 2014 by Thomas Roach

Charles Dance and Lena Headey are both joining the production of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The actors are best known for their roles in Game of Thrones, playing Tywin Lannister and Cersei Lanninter respectively.

The pair join the continuing growing cast of the adaptation of the popular novel which is a retelling of Pride and Prejudice, albeit one that introduces brain eating zombies into the story. Less than a week ago it was announced that Matt Smith of Doctor Who fame had joined the cast as Mr Collins. However there is still no word as to who Charles Dance and Lena Heady will play in the film.

Production is set to start today with Burr Steers directing the flick. The film is set for release sometime in 2015. The film also stars Lily James (Wrath of the Titans), Sam Riley (Maleficent), Bella Heathcote (Dark Shadows), Douglas Booth (Worried About the Boy), and Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire).
