Chris Pine in talks to play Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman

It looks like Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman has found a love interested for her upcoming solo movie, with Variety reporting that Chris Pine (Star Trek Into Darkness) is in talks with Warner Bros. about taking on the role of Steve Trevor in the 2017 release.

Earlier reports had indicated that Scott Eastwood (The Longest Ride) would be playing Steve Trevor in Suicide Squad, however Variety’s report claims that Eastwood was given the choice to test for the part of Trevor in Wonder Woman, or take a guaranteed supporting part in Suicide Squad.

Wonder Woman is set to be directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster), and is slated to hit cinemas on June 23rd 2017.
