Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Justice Leak (Powers) is set for a role in the DC universe, with the actor signing on to play the villain Hellgrammite in the CBS series Supergirl.
In the comic book mythology, Hellgrammite is an entomologist called Roderick Rose, who finds himself transformed into an insect-like villain. However, it seems he’ll be revised for the small screen, with EW revealing that Supergirl’s incarnation of the character will be an alien who Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) is chasing.
Leak’s casting comes hot on the heels of the news that Brit Morgan (True Blood) will appear as another DC villain in Livewire.
Supergirl is set to premiere on October 26th.
