Glenn Close close to joining cast of comedy Bastards

September 18, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Glenn Close (Guardians of the Galaxy) is in final talks to join the cast of the upcoming comedy Bastards, Deadline reports.

Close will join Owen Wilson (Zoolander 2), Ed Helms (Vacation), J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) and Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) in the comedy, which sees cinematographer Lawrence Sher (Garden State) making his directorial debut.

Bastards centres on two brothers (Wilson and Helms) “whose eccentric mother fabricates a story that their father died when they were young. When they find out the story is false, they make it their mission to find their real father.”

Written by Justin Malen (Bad Teacher 2), Bastards is set for release in 2016.
