The cast of Lionsgate and Saban Entertainment’s upcoming big screen reboot of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers continues to come together, with the official Twitter site revealing that relative newcomer Ludi Lin (Marco Polo, Monster Hunt) has been cast as Zack Taylor, a.k.a. the Black Ranger.
Lin is the third actor to join the film after Naomi Scott (The Martian) as Kimberly Ann Hart/The Pink Ranger and Dacre Montgomery (Bertrand the Terrible) as Jason Lee Scott/The Red Ranger.
Power Rangers is set for release on January 13th 2017, with Dean Israelite (Project Almanac) directing from a script by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class).
