Charles Roven reveals Wonder Woman and Justice League filming schedules

November 13, 2015 by Gary Collinson

A couple of days ago it was speculated that Warner Bros. had kicked off production on Wonder Woman, owing to a tweet from DC’s Geoff Johns to director Patty Jenkins. However, producer Charles Roven has now suggested to Collider that filming won’t get underway on the Amazon Princess’ solo movie until later this month, while he also talked briefly about the schedule for Justice League, revealing that Zack Snyder won’t be shooting Part One and Part Two back-to-back.

“We’re actually gonna start shooting [Wonder Woman] towards the end of [November],” states Roven. “We are shooting in the U.K. and in Italy. We’re making most of Wonder Woman [in the U.K.] and we’re also making most of Justice League there, JL One… We’re definitely gonna be shooting Part One in the first or second quarter of next year.”

It does seem a little strange that Justice League won’t be shot back-to-back. Perhaps the studio is envisioning them more as separate, standalone movies rather than a two-part epic?
