Thor: Ragnarok rumour suggests a major death

February 12, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Warning. Potential spoilers for Thor: Ragnarok follow…

As Marvel enters its third Phase, there’s been a lot of talk that the new slate of movies will see several big name characters from the MCU killed off.

Previous reports have suggested that “multiple death scenes” have been filmed for Captain America: Civil War, and now Latino-Review is claiming that Thor: Ragnarok will also see us waving goodbye to one of the God of Thunder’s main supporting characters.

The site is claiming that Hela (thought to be portrayed by Cate Blanchett) will attack Asgard, murdering Idris Elba’s Heimdall in the process. However, that won’t be the last we see of the character, as “the final showdown with Hela will feature an army of the dead commanded by the villainess doing battle with good Valkyries from Valhalla and the souls of the righteous fallen, including Heimdall.”

As always with Latino-Review, this should be taken with a pinch of salt…
