Danny Boyle developing a WWII miniseries for FX

Just yesterday it was announced that Michael Bay is developing a World War II movie entitled Sabotage, which is based around an operation by Norwegian saboteurs to disrupt the Nazis atomic weapons program.

Well, it’s now it’s been revealed that a version of the real life story is also heading to the small screen courtesy of Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours director Danny Boyle, writer Simon Beaufoy and producer Christian Colson.

According to Deadline, the Oscar-winning trio are teaming up with FX for the ten-part miniseries Telemark, with Boyle stating: “This is one of the world’s greatest stories and we want to tell it on an epic scale.”
