Disney announces Frozen short film Frozen Fever

Following the runaway success of Frozen, Walt Disney Pictures has announced that a new short film entitled Frozen Fever will debut next Spring.

Set around Anna’s birthday and the complications that ensue when Elsa’s icy powers get in the way of throwing a celebration, Frozen Fever will reunite Frozen directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, along witrh songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

Unlike Feast (which is attached to Big Hero 6) and Lava (attached to Inside Out), there’s no word on which film Frozen Fever will accompany, although with no animated Disney releases set for Spring 2015, my money is on Avengers: Age of Ultron…
