Voice cast for Batman Vs. Robin announced, includes “Weird Al” Yankovic

January 14, 2015 by James Garcia

Two iconic facets of geekdom will collide in 2015. No, I’m not talking about the newest Avengers team-up or rumors of Spider-Man joining the MCU. I’m talking about Batman going head-to-head with “Weird Al” Yankovic.

The voice cast for the upcoming DC Universe Original Animated Movie, Batman Vs. Robin, has been revealed. The film is a sequel to last year’s Son of Batman, and as the title would suggest will pit Bruce Wayne against his son, Damian and be partially inspired by the New 52 Batman: Court of Owls storyline from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo.

Son of Batman voice actors Jason O’Mara, Stuart Allan, Sean Maher and David McCallum will reprise their roles of Bruce, Damian, Dick Grayson and Alfred, respectively. They’re joined by Jeremy Sisto (Six Feet Under) as Talon, a nearly invincible assassin from the Court of Owls, Grey Griffin (Avatar: The Last Airbender) as Samantha, Robin Atkin Downes (The Strain, Superman Vs. The Elite) as The Grandmaster, Peter Onorati (Goodfellas) as Draco, legendary Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) as Thomas Wayne, and yes, “Weird Al” Yankovic as The Dollmaker.

Jay Oliva, who directed Batman: Assault on Arkham, Justice League: War and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Parts 1 & 2 will helm Batman Vs. Robin from a script by comic book writer J.M. DeMatteis. The film will premiere at WonderCon this April, and then go direct-to-video this Spring.
