According to Variety, Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty, A Most Violent Year) has joined the cast of The Huntsman opposite Chris Hemsworth, Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron.
Details on Chastain’s role are unfortunately vague, so we don’t know if she’ll be on the Huntsman’s side, or if she’ll join forces with Blunt, whose character the Ice Queen is seeking revenge for the death of Theron’s evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman.
Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, The Huntsman is slated to hit theaters in a kingdom near you on April 22, 2016.
