Stan Lee teases his Avengers: Age of Ultron cameo

March 31, 2015 by admin

In life there are several things that are guaranteed: death, taxes and Stan Lee cameos in Marvel movies.

Over the weekend at Emerald City Comic-Con, the comic book and Marvel legend was asked by an audience member about which of his cameos has been his favourite – and he teases the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

“My favourite is one I can’t tell you about, but I’ll give you a hint — don’t miss the new Avengers movie,” he told the audience.

“Almost every day, I get invited to do a cameo in some movie or another that has nothing to do with Marvel,” he added. “They just call me up, ‘hey, we’re doing a movie. Do you want to do a cameo?’ It’s kind of funny — I’ve become known as a cameo specialist.”

Some fans have theorised that Stan Lee is in fact playing popular Marvel Comics character The Watcher, which is how he is able to be in all of the Marvel movies. “I haven’t heard that,” he laughed when someone brought this idea up. “But it’s a good idea!”
