Captain America takes on The Hulk in footage from cancelled Marvel fighting game

May 29, 2015 by admin

We found out last year that a fighting game based on the characters from the Marvel Universe was the victim of the shut down of EA Chicago. The game, rumoured to be titled Marvel: Destruction, would see one-on-one fights between your favourite characters in fully destructible locations – perfect for characters like The Hulk!

In some new footage that hit the web today (via PtoPOnline), we’ve got our best look yet at the game which sees a rather angry Hulk take on a very mouthy and chatty Captain America. And, well, there’s a lot of destruction! The footage also shows a character select screen that shows the game would have also included characters like Spider-Man, Dark Phoenix, Dr. Doom, Juggernaut, Ms. Marvel and even U.S. Agent.

Check out the footage below:

Are you sad to see that this game never made it to the light of day?
