Jason Momoa says there might be some orange and green in his Aquaman costume

September 24, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Back in February we got our first look at Jason Momoa as he’ll appear as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and his subsequent DC Cinematic Universe appearances. The promo image showcased a very different Aquaman to what we’re accustomed to, but Momoa has suggested that it could still pay homage to the classic orange and green costume of the comic books.

“There might be a bit of orange and green,” Momoa told The Robots Voice at the Joshua Tree International Film Festival. “A bit of respect to prior work, but I think he is meaner now and upset – look at what has been done to our oceans. That’s his world that has been polluted.”

Aquaman will make his DC Cinematic Universe debut in next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, before 2017’s Justice League Part One and 2018’s Aquaman solo movie.
