Alison Pill joins Jessica Chastain in gun control drama Miss Sloane

January 8, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Variety is reporting that Alison Pill (The Newsroom) has signed on to appear in Miss Sloane, the upcoming gun control drama from director John Madden (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel).

Miss Sloane stars Jessica Chastain (Crimson Peak) as lobbyist seeking for tighter federal laws regulating firearms, who faces off against the powerful gun lobby.

The project – which is hugely topical, given President Barack Obama’s new push to curb gun violence – has been penned by first time screenwriter Jonathan Perera and is being produced by FilmNation and EuropaCorp.
