Rumour: Felicity Jones’ character name revealed in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

January 5, 2016 by admin

Warning: possible spoilers below…

Now that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out of the way and dominating the global box office, it’s time for rumours and speculation about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to begin. And it didn’t take long into 2016 for that to happen.

According to Making Star Wars, Felicity Jones’ character in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be called Lyra Erso, which they got from a casting site.

“The role is doubled by a white female actor, Gabriele Fritz. She is playing the photo double for a character in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” they write.

Keep this one stored away in the rumour pile for now, and we’ll have to wait for something a bit more official to come along.
