Rumour: Ice Cube to join Vin Diesel in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

With production underway on xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, MovieHole is reporting that Vin Diesel will be joined in the cast by Ice Cube, who is said to be reprising the role of Darius Stone from xXx: State of the Union.

Ice Cube took over as the lead for the 2005 sequel, which bombed at the box office, earning just $71 million around the globe from a production budget of $131 million.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is being directed by D.J. Caruso (Disturbia) also also stars the returning Samuel L. Jackson alongside Jet Li (The Expendables), Tony Jaa (Ong-Bak), Deepika Padukone (Cocktail), Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black) and UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
