Chucky 7 shooting soon; Jennifer Tilly to star once again

February 23, 2016 by admin

It was announced last year that Don Mancini, creator of Child’s Play and the Chucky character, will be returning to the franchise again for the as-yet-to-be-titled Chucky 7. Now the director has been publicly discussing the project with Jennifer Tilly, who will set to reprise her role of Tiffany.

Check out the tweets below:

@RealDonMancini Capetown is great. The crew is really professional and you can't beat the weather!

@RealDonMancini Don't worry, I have many Tiffany worthy outfits buried in the back of my closet! (Along with other things! Heeheehee!😈)

Mancini first brought Chucky to the silver screen with Child’s Play in 1988, and the character would feature again in Child’s Play 2 in 1990 and Child’s Play 3 in 1993 before turning to comedy for Bride of Chucky in 1998 and Seed of Chucky in 2004. Mancini returned the franchise to its horror roots in 2013, when he directed Seed of Chucky, which went straight to DVD.

Jennifer Tilly first joined the franchise as Tiffany in Bride of Chucky, and returned for Seed of Chucky before providing a cameo at the end of Curse of Chucky.
