Multiple surprise DC cameos featured in The Flash – ‘Welcome to Earth-2’

Warning: Spoilers for last night’s episode of The Flash follow…

During last night’s episode of The Flash, ‘Welcome to Earth-2’, Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen traveled through the multiverse, during which the showrunners delivered a number of surprise DC cameos…

Perhaps the biggest of all was Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl, who featured ahead of the CBS show’s big crossover with The Flash…

We also got to see Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen sporting a goatee…

As well as our first look at Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex ahead of his DC’s Legends of Tomorrow appearance…

A Legion ring, following Geoff Johns’ tease that the Legion of Super-Heroes could be set to feature on the small screen…

And finally, John Wesley Shipp’s Scarlet Speedster from the 90s Flash TV series…

So, can we now assume that all of DC’s television shows exist in the same multiverse? And would this also extend to the movies? Kevin Smith recently stated that Geoff Johns suggested this could be a possibility, so we shall see…
