Dakota Johnson joins David Robert Mitchell’s Under the Silver Lake

How To Be Single and Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson star is set join the cast of the new film from acclaimed director David Robert Mitchell (It Follows).

Under the Silver Lake is reportedly a “modern noir crime thriller set in Los Angeles” and is written and directed by Mitchell, who shot to fame last year with It Follows. The director has already signed up The Amazing Spider-Man and 99 Homes star Andrew Garfield for the film.

Johnson is one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actresses at present. Currently filming the eagerly-anticipated sequels to Grey – Fifty Shades Freed and Darker – she is also set to re-team with with her A Bigger Splash Luca Guadagnino for a remake of cult horror Suspiria.
