Daniel Craig and Katherine Heigl join Steven Soderbergh’s Logan Lucky

May 30, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Daniel Craig and Katherine Heigl have signed on to appear in Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming film Logan Lucky.

Craig and Heigl’s casting follows the recent news that Adam Driver, Seth MacFarlane and Riley Keough will appear in the project alongside Channing Tatum.

Logan Lucky is a heist film which revolves around “brothers who plan a crime during a NASCAR race”, and is scheduled to go into production in the fall.

Between this and the TV series Purity, Craig is filling up his slate, adding fuel to the fire that his time as 007 has come to an end.
