Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya and Florence Kasumba join Marvel’s Black Panther

Marvel’s Black Panther has expanded its cast with three new additions in Forest Whitaker (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Daniel Kaluuya (Black Mirror) and Florence Kasumba (Captain America: Civil War).

Whitaker is set to play Zuri, an elder statesman in Wakanda, with Kaluuya as W’Kabi, a confidant of T’Challa, and Kasumba reprising her Civil War role as Ayo, a member of the Dora Milaje.

The new additions join the returning Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa alongside Lupita Nyong’o (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Nakia, Michael B. Jordan (Fantastic Four) as Erik Killmonger, Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead) as Okoye and Winston Duke (Person of Interest) as M’Baku.

Black Panther is set for release on February 16th 2018, with Ryan Coogler (Creed) directing.
