The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences has announced the nominees for the 89th Academy Awards, and as expected given its stellar run during awards season so far, Damien Chazelle’s La La Land leads the pack with 14 nominations in total, tying the record set by All About Eve and Titanic.

La La Land will contest the Best Picture Oscar alongside Arrival, Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, Hidden Figures, Lion, Manchester By the Sea and Moonlight.

Other films to receive multiple nominations are Arrival (eight), Hacksaw Ridge (six, including a Best Director nod for Mel Gibson), Manchester By the Sea (six) and Hell or High Water (four).
